Weddle HV2 Transaxles takes internal oil distribution and lubrication to the next level for extreme duty, high horsepower applications. Available as an option, the Weddle HV2 internal oil pump and oil distribution system uses passages in the housing, oil spray bars, and custom machined bearings to deliver oil where it's needed. Every bearing on the top shaft and every gear receives a constant supply of oil when the vehicle is moving.

Efficient, internally-driven oil pump. Driven off a gear on the pinion shaft,  the pump delivers oil whenever the vehicle is in motion. This eliminates the need for an external 12-volt electric pump. Since the pump is driven off the pinion shaft, the faster the vehicle is going, the more oil it will try to pump. This is where the regulator and pressure relief come into play, both also built into the gear housing with the pump assembly.

Precision machined oil galleys and bearing races,  combined with oil spray bars,  provide cool, filtered oil to all bearings on the mainshaft and every gear including reverse. In extreme driving situations,  the Weddle HV2 internal oil system gets the oil back where it's needed, preventing oil starvation and keeping the transaxle cool (when used with an oil cooler).
