Bryce Farrar wins the 2023 Weddle Perfect 10

Bryce Farrar Weddle Perfect 10 Challenge 2023

Lucerne Valley, CA —  Twenty Class 10 entries unlocked the $25K purse for this year's Weddle Industries Perfect 10 Challenge. Teams converged on Lucerne Valley over the April 29 weekend for the second event of the 2023 Weddle Shootout Series. When the dust settled, 1023 Bryce Farrar finished on top of the Class 10 podium to claim the big $12.5K Weddle Perfect 10 first place check. 1012  Holden Heitritter took second and 1067  Roger Starkey finished third to round out the Weddle Perfect 10 podium.

2023 Weddle Perfect 10 Challenge

Next Generation Weddle Racing . Charlie Weddle, son of bossman Ron Weddle, made his debut behind the wheel of car 1089 at the Weddle Perfect 10. Charlie kept a solid pace, moving up from a 20th place starting position to the 8th spot just before handing off driving duties to Adam Pfankuch. Pfankuch battled the Weddle S5-equipped 1089 within striking range of Class 10 third, but was edged off the podium by just over a minute.

 

2023 MORE Transaxle Engineering Challenge Mike Malloy

Four class wins for Weddle-equipped teams. In addition to the Weddle Perfect 10 excitement, Weddle-equipped teams took four class wins at the Transaxle Engineering Challenge. Eric Hardin took the Unlimited Truck win piloting the Albins ST6-equipped 79 truck. In Class 1600, Mike Malloy finished on top of the podium. Jacob Wisdom took home the Class 9 win in Weddle-equipped 932 and 1146 Daniel Boswell finished on top in Class 11.

It has been a great start of the 2023 MORE Season. The Weddle Shootout Series will return September 23 for the TJ Craig Memorial Weddle Sweet 16 Shootout at the PCI 300 in Johnson Valley, CA. See you there!
