Ridgecrest, CA—There was no let up in action heading into the final stretch of the SNORE season. One hundred and eighty-eight racers arrived in Ridgecrest, ready for a weekend full of hot, dusty and brutal racing at the PCI Race Radios 250. Once again, Weddle-equipped teams dominated multiple classes, taking wins, podium spots, and top 5 finishes.

Race action started early Saturday for Heat 1 as Class 10, Class 5, Class 1600 and several other classes lined up for a 6am start. One-hundred and nine vehicles got in position at the start line, taking off at 30 second intervals at the first light of the day.

Weddle-equipped cars crushed multiple classes in Heat 1. Weddle-equipped cars dominated Class 5, sweeping the podium and taking 4 out of the top 5 spots. Justin “Bean” Smith took the class win in Weddle MD-equipped 516. 535 Zac Reish finished second and 502 Jerry Longo finished 3rd, both in Weddle S5-equipped vehicles. Weddle Racing Gears-equipped teams dominated Class 1/2-1600, snagging the two spots on the class podium and 4 out of the top 5 spots. 1632 Fernie Padilla taking first in class and the team of Chris and Cory Boyer taking second driving car 1616.

Weddle-equipped teams earned two more wins with 923 Justin Cockrell finishing on top of the Class 9 podium and Chad Cummings winning Class 12 in Weddle MD-equipped 1246.

The big guns came out in Saturday afternoon’s Heat 2. Joe David pulled out in front of the Class 1 pack early and crossed the finish line in 4 hours, 5 minutes, 3 seconds for the Class 1 win in Albins AGB-equipped 152. Thirteen minutes behind David, James Dean took 2nd in Class 1 piloting Albins AGB-equipped 175.
