Caliente, NV—Taking place 150 miles northeast of the Las Vegas desert, the SNORE Knotty Pine 250 offers racers a change of scenery. At an elevation of 4,300 feet, Caliente features slightly cooler temps, picturesque trees and water, challenging bottlenecks, narrow passes and of course the notorious rail-less bridge.

This year, Weddle-equipped teams rose to the unique challenges of Caliente and took home five class wins. Besting his second  in class at the Battle at Primm, James Ford came out on top this time to take the top spot on the Class 10 podium in Weddle S5-equipped 1015. Chad Cummings took the win in Class 12 driving Weddle MD5-equipped 1246. In another Weddle MD5-equipped car, 516 Justin “Bean” Smith finished on top in Class 5 Unlimited. 

Two Weddle Racing Gears-equipped teams managed to take home class wins. 1632 Fernie Padilla  finished on top of the Class 16 podium and 998 Joshua Englestead finished first in Class 9. As we hit mid-season, 2019 has been great for Weddle-equipped teams. We can't wait to see what the rest of the SNORE season brings.
