Stunt Legend Matt Mingay’s Hot Wheels Camaro Drift Car will feature an Albins ST6 6-speed sequential gearbox. Built by Pace Innovations in Australia, the new Hot Wheels Camaro will feature a 850 Hp NASCAR engine and an Albins ST6 transaxle. Pace Innovations is well known for their work with Australia’s V8 Supercars and the development of the Car of the Future. The success of the Albins ST6 in the V8 Supercars program made it a natural choice and a perfect fit for this new build.

The Albins ST6 is a strong, compact, and efficient 6-speed sequential transaxle featuring a set of drop gears for quick, simple ratio changes. In an effort to reduce drag, the ST6 features roller bearings and straight-cut, profile ground gears that are shot peened and isotropic polished. Inspection ports make routine inspection easy without dis-assembly. Internal oil pump is standard.

The Albins ST6 can be configured to suit many custom applications including an inline transmission, rear-mount transaxle or mid-mount transaxle.
