Weddle Racing Gears are made from a proprietary spec, fine grain vacuum-melt steel, each bar of which is ultrasound tested for internal defects prior to machining.  All Weddle Racing Gears go through a special multiphase heat-treat and cryogenic process that greatly increases tooth strength and fatigue resistance. Finally, Weddle Racing Gears are deburred, shot-peened, and precision ground to combat fatigue and increase gear life. In many of the hardest running vehicles in the world, Weddle Racing gears have been proven to withstand the abuse that causes other gears to fail.
