Serious Polaris PRO-R Trans Race Prep for serious racers. Stock gears can crack and wear prematurely, and entry level bearings can fail when subjected to extreme off road race conditions. While the factory assembly procedures work for most end users, those procedures are not always enough for the shock loading these units see in a racing environment. This can all lead to premature drive train failure in your Polaris PRO-R.

Multi-stage Weddle Race Prep (WRP) for Polaris Pro-R includes:

• Total Inspection: All serviced Polaris PRO-R units receive a full magnetic particle inspection (Magnaflux) on critical internal components, as well as a complete visual inspection prior to any prep or assembly work being performed.
• High Performance Gear Prep: All gears are hand-deburred to remove sharp corners, eliminating areas where cracks start. Gears are then shot-peened to relieve surface tension left over from manufacturing, further deterring crack formation. Finally, all critical internal components are REM Isotropic Superfinished to further reduce imperfections left over from the manufacturing process. REM Superfinishing is applied to all internal components where metal moves against metal in order to reduce friction and temperature.
• Professional Weddle Assembly: All Polaris PRO-R units are re-assembled with new seals, o-rings, and name brand bearings from SKF, FAG, KOYO, NTN and other quality brands. All shafts are measured and preload adjusted to minimize deflection caused by heavy shock loading. All fasteners are hand torqued with Loctite.

Weddle Polaris PRO-R PTL Service includes:

• Teardown/clean
• Breakaway torque measured and adjusted
• Magnaflux check and visual inspection of PTL shaft and discs
• Friction discs are measured and noted for future comparison 
• Machined for improved oil flow 
• Reassembly with high quality bearing
• Professional Weddle Industries assembly
