What separates these gears from the previous generation of hobbed gears is their extremely precise gear tooth geometry, achieved by grinding the gear tooth profile after heat treat. This eliminates imperfections left over from gear hobbing and corrects the distortion that occurs during heat treat.

The result is a perfect tooth form every time. Profile grinding, coupled with Weddle’s proprietary spec gear material and manufacturing processes, will result in stronger, more durable gears that run quieter and last longer.
