LATE STYLE REVERSE IDLER SHAFT BRG ASSY, MODIFIED TO WORK IN EARLY VW MAIN CASE
We machine an oval retaining slot in the late style reverse idler bearing assembly so that it can be used in an early style trans case. This allows the 091 reverse idler shaft and 091 reverse gear to be installed. This combination is required to clear 1.93 and 1.86 2nd gear ratios.
