Rodney O'Maley's Weddle S5-equipped Pikes Peak Hill Climbing Beast

Colorado Springs, CO — The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is 12.4 miles long. The storied race features 156 turns, an elevation gain of 4,725 feet, and a finish at over 14K feet. With more than a century of history, the Pikes Peak Hill Climb began in 1916 on a gravel road. The O'Maley family has been a fixture at the race since the mid 90's when David O'Maley first entered in 1994. David's sons, Rodney and Earl, both compete in the Open Wheel Class.

The O'Maley Special Spec VIII is a hill climbing beast. A PPIHC veteran, Rodney O'Maley has raced the O'Maley Special in many iterations over the years. The latest Spec VIII has reached a top speed of over 135 at the Bottomless Pit section of the PPIHC course.
