LEGACY Frontier 500: Weddle-equipped Class 10 Podium Sweep
Yerington, NV— The second event of the 2024 Legacy season is a test of endurance. The Frontier 500 is a point to point marathon starting in Pahrump and finishing in Yerington, just east of Lake Tahoe. Clocking in at over 500 miles, The Frontier 500 is a test of team work and logistics, where consistency decides a place on the podium.
Weddle-equipped Class 10 podium sweep. Three Weddle-equipped Class 10 teams put all the pieces together to complete the mission Yerington. Two Albins AGB-equipped 10 cars, 1036 Corey Goin and 1098 Dane Miller, finished first and second respectively. Travis Bradford snagged the third spot on the Class 10 podium driving Weddle S5-equipped 1008.
McMullen wins overall, Hustead wins TT. Conner McMullen continued his domination in the Nevada desert. Fresh off his overall win at the SNORE Battle at Primm a week before, McMullen dusted off his Albins AGB-equipped 1540 buggy for another Class 1 first and took the Frontier 500 Overall win. Not far behind, Eric Hustead snagged Second Overall and the top spot on the Unlimited Truck podium, piloting his 4WD Albins ST6-equipped Trophy Truck.
The Frontier 500 is a test of fitness for the next event on the Legacy calendar. The Legacy Baja Nevada is a grueling 650 mile, two-day trial taking place June 26-29. Be prepared.
