Replacement for 16V VW 020 mainshaft. A damaged or worn reverse gear can render the mainshaft in a VW 020 trans useless. Weddle Industries now offers a high quality replacement mainshaft for the 16-valve 020 trans (with 28-spline input). If your mainshaft is bad, odds are your reverse gear will also need replacement. Weddle offers these as well (see pricing below).

Tech Tip: The 16V mainshaft can also be used to upgrade an early model 020 "8-valve" trans (additional parts will be required).
