AGBs Crush Class 1500 again at The Mint 400
Las Vegas, Nevada—Mad Media's Martelli Brothers were on a mission to bring glory back to The Great American Off Road Race. Along with Casey Folks and the Best In The Desert team, they succeeded in spades. The General Tire Mint 400 was a 5-day, world class event that not only restored Vegas glamor to the Mint's legendary status, but also it's reputation as one of the toughest races around.

After Thursday's qualifying, Class 1500 racers Harley Letner, Justin Lofton, Pat Dean started in positions 7, 8, and 9 respectively. True to it's reputation, The Mint's brutal course started taking casualties early on. Justin Lofton broke his steering after hitting bumps in the first lap. He finished the race without power steering but still managed to make the top ten in the class 1500.

Defending his 2013 BITD class title, Jon Walker started way back in 45th position. True to form, Walker charged steady. Suffering no flats or mechanical problems, Walker in Albins AGB equipped car 1501 clawed to the front of the pack to finish in 6 hours, 55 minutes and 37 seconds and claim the Class 1500 victory.

Fresh off his win at the Parker 425, Corey Keysar in AGB equipped car 1520 finished 4 minutes behind Walker for second place in his class. One more AGB fitted car, 1510 Brandon Dawson took third to round out the podium. Keysar's finish puts him at the top of Class 1500 class on points this season.

More AGB equipped cars making the Mint Class 1500 top ten: 5th place Scott Bailey/Stronghold Motorsports, 6th place Ray Griffith and 9th place Todd Tuls.

Hats off to the Martelli Brothers, Casey Folks and the BITD team for a top notch event. Big congrats to Jon Walker, The Kreger Fab crew, and all the finishers of this year's Mint 400.
