Parker, AZ —  In desert racing tradition, the Parker race unofficially kicks off a new race year. UNLTD Off Road Racing hosted this year's season opener. Over 120 race teams arrived during the second week of January for the Parker 400. Sticking with tradition, this year's 142 mile race loop offered all teams the challenge they have come to expect from a Parker race.

Conner McMullen takes Parker 400 Overall Win. Racing with Class 1 big boys in his Albins AGB-equipped limited 6200 car, Conner McMullen showed everyone how it's done. Running a sealed engine with a deficit of hp compared to his Class 1 peers, McMullen not only took the top spot in Class 1, but bested every Trophy Truck to take the overall win.

Four additional class wins for Weddle-equipped teams. The season opener was a great start for Weddle-equipped teams. Adam Householder took the big 2WD Trophy Truck win driving Albins ST6-equipped truck 24. The team of Kirk Kontilis and Lance Webb finished on top of the Class 10 box in Weddle S5-equipped 1026. In Class 5U, Keith Waibel finished first in Weddle S5-equipped 527 and 572 Ernie Negrete took the top spot in Class 5-1600.

After a hot start in Parker, we can't wait to see what the 2024 season brings.
